Shawinigan, 22 août 1963 - Ces photographies historiques capturent un moment marquant pour la ville de Shawinigan : l’inauguration officielle de la nouvelle conduite d’eau reliant le lac à la Pêche à l’usine de filtration municipale. Cette infrastructure moderne visait à améliorer significativement l’approvisionnement en eau potable pour la population.
Sur les images on observe les dignitaires municipaux et provinciaux réunis pour l’occasion, procédant à la coupe du ruban, au symbolique geste d’ouverture de la vanne.
